What is the difference between interstate and intrastate?
Interstate is when cargo or passengers are transported across state lines. Intrastate is transporting cargo or passengers within a single state.
How do I find out about available loads before they are posted on a general board?
When you complete a New Carrier Packet and submit it to us, you will be entered into our system and be considered an e-Network Carrier. This enables you to receive the most up-to-date available loads prior to posting them on any of the boards.
How do I get into a cycle of available equipment?
Once you sign up with us as an e-Network Carrier, by submitting our New Carrier Packet, you will be assigned a username and password. With this information, you will be able to log in daily and post where you have available equipment. But the best way is to call us every morning, before 10:00am, and speak with one of our dispatchers to inform them of where and when you are available. This ensures that you are placed on the daily list. However, do not assume that when you call one day you are assured being placed on the list the following day, without a phone call.
Why do my drivers need to contact you for dispatch?
We commit to our shippers to communicate with our drivers from start to finish for every load. This act assures safe and timely arrival of their freight.
What are the travel lanes for your company?
Our typical lanes are Florida to New Jersey and return, but we are available to shippers to haul freight throughout the United States.
Do you offer advances, and if so, what percentage?
We do offer quickpay advances by Comcheck. Advances can be made for up to 40% of load value.
How do I get paid once I turn in my paperwork?
There are a variety of ways to get paid:
• Bring your paperwork into our office in Sanford, FL for processing. As long as your paperwork is complete and there are no discrepancies, we will prepare your check while you wait.
• Submit paperwork through our e-Direct program and request payment via one of the following methods.
• Regular Mail – No fee
• Comcheck - $30.00 fee
• Federal Express Overnight - $30.00 fee
• Submit paperwork via overnight delivery and you will be paid through the same method(unless you specify otherwise) - $30.00 fee
